| The Southeast Steuben County Library is one of 48 libraries in the Southern Tier Library System. Library patrons can check out books from any of these libraries with one card. That means if we don't have what you are looking for, it can probably be found within our system. And if it's not in our system, we can probably get it through interlibrary loan (see below). | Library Cards
Getting a library card is free for everyone in our service area. Simply bring in your picture ID and a piece of mail with your current, local address. Children need a parent and the ability to sign or print their first and last names.
You can use your card to check out library materials, place items on hold and renew items online in StarCat, our catalog. Log in to your account or the
STLS
digital catalog by using your library card number and your pin. Your pin is the last four digits of your phone number. You can download ebooks, audio books, music and movies from the digital catalog.
In addition, your library card is your access number to use our library computers. |

| Interlibrary Loan & Acquisitions Requests
Need something our library system hasn't got? Request an interlibrary loan here.
Would you like the library to buy a book for its collection? Acquisitions requests click here. You can also come into the library and fill out an acquisition request form for the item/s you would like to see the library purchase.
Check out eBooks, audio books, music, TV, movies
 The library also has a catalog of audio and eBooks, music, TV  and movies for patrons to download and enjoy. These digital downloads are poweredby OverDrive software and work with computers, many eBooks readers and Iphone and Ipad.
