Ethical Apparel Designer Jesse Junko Beardslee of Themis and Thread will guide us through the apron making process. She will also lead a discussion about Fashion Revolution Week and Sustainable Style. Materials you will need at home are a sewing machine, fabric iron, ruler, scissors, and pins.
(max 15 students). The class will be on Zoom.
Register by April 11 to reserve your space in class. You will be notified when you can pick up a supply kit at the library. Free “Take and Make” packs will have precut fabric, twill tape and thread; Wind your bobbin before the sew-along!
The class will be recorded and will be available to watch on our on YouTube channel beginning May 12.
