Monthly Matinee Movie | April 2026 : “News of the World”

On the 4th Friday of each month, there will be a popular recent movie shown in the Library’s Community Room.
The movies, all curated by Librarian Linda Reimer, are selected with adult viewers in mind.
No need to sign up, just show up.
This Month’s Matinee Movie will be News of the World, directed by Paul Greengrass and starring Tom Hanks and Helena Zengel.
Released in 2020, the film is rated PG-13 and runs 1h 58m.
The Story: A Civil War veteran agrees to deliver a girl taken by the Kiowa people years ago to her aunt and uncle against her will. They travel hundreds of miles and face grave dangers as they search for a place that either can call home.
