Monthly Matinee Movie: “Wicked” [Rescheduled from December]

On the 4th Friday of each month, there will be a popular recent movie shown in the Library’s Community Room.
The movies, all curated by Librarian Linda Reimer, are selected with adult viewers in mind.
No need to sign up, just show up.
This Month’s Matinee Movie has been rescheduled from December: Wicked directed by Jon Chu and starring Cynthia Erivo, Ariana Grande, and Jeff Goldblum.
Released in 2024, the film is rated PG and runs 2h 40m.
The Story: Elphaba, a young woman ridiculed for her green skin, and Galinda, a popular girl, become friends at Shiz University in the Land of Oz. After an encounter with the Wonderful Wizard of Oz, their friendship reaches a crossroads.
