The History and Importance of Nature Photography

To celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States, the Tanglewood Nature Center is partnering with local libraries for a special lecture series exploring the history and importance of environmental conservation in America. 
On Thursday, March 12, Tanglewood educator Ryan Donnelley will give a talk at the Southeast Steuben County Library about “The History and Importance of Nature Photography.
The talk is free and open to the public.

About the presenter: As Tanglewood’s Lead Educator, Ryan Donnelley develops and teaches programs rooted in STEAM and FOSS curricula, engaging students of all ages across the Twin Tiers and Finger Lakes. Ryan also helps shape Tanglewood’s summer camps, after-school programs, and community events, ensuring that every experience inspires curiosity and care for nature.
