SUMMARY:Free Lunch for Kids ages 19 and Under
DESCRIPTION:Children ages 19 and under are eligible for a free lunch at the Library beginning Monday\, July 14\, and running through Friday\, August 22.\nMeals will be available in the Library’s community room\, from 12 noon to 12:30 PM on Monday\, Wednesday\, Thursday and Friday\, and typically consist of a sandwich\, fruit\, chips and a drink. \nEvery Tuesday\, beginning on July 15 and running through August 19\, a hot grilled meal will be available for children ages 18 and under from 12 noon to 1:00 PM. The hot grilled meals will be served in the Civic Center Plaza. Adults accompanying a child may purchase a grilled lunch. \nThe meals are provided in collaboration with the Corning-Painted Post School District.

He won the Caldecott Medal for most distinguished picture book in 2015 for his mixed-media illustrations in The Adventures of Beekle: The Unimaginary Friend\, which he also wrote. He lives in California with his wife\, two kids\, a rabbit\, a bird\, and a cat. \nThe Adult Book Club meets in-person at the Library on the second Friday of each month (this month is an exception).
