DESCRIPTION:Join Miss Sue at 10 AM in Centerway Square in downtown Corning\, every other week from Tuesday\, June 10 through Tuesday\, August 19. Each week\, one lucky child in the crowd will win a book to take home with them\, courtesy of the Southeast Steuben County Library.\nIn the event of rain\, the storytime will take place at the Library in the Mary Lu Walker Children’s Room.\nCheck Facebook to confirm on the day if rain is expected.\n\nThis program is a partnership between the Southeast Steuben County Library and  Corning’s Gaffer District\, and is sponsored by WilliamsToyota.

SUMMARY:Free Hot Grilled Lunch for Kids 19 and Under
DESCRIPTION:Every Tuesday\, beginning on July 15 and running through August 19\, from 12 noon to 1:00 PM\, a free\, hot grilled meal will be available for children ages 19 and under.  The meals will be served in the Civic Center Plaza\, and typically consist of a hamburger or hot dog\, chips\, cookie and a drink.\nAdults accompanying a child may purchase a grilled lunch for themselves. \nA free cold lunch for kids will be available from 12 noon to 12:30 PM on Monday\, Wednesday\, Thursday and Friday\, beginning July 14 and running through August 22. The meals will be served in the Library’s community rooms\, and typically consist of a sandwich\, fruit\, chips and a drink. \nThe meals are provided in collaboration with the Corning-Painted Post School District

DESCRIPTION:At Teen Theatre Camp. students will participate in theatre games\, improv\, movement and play reading/performance. On the last day\, teens will perform two or three plays for family and friends that would like to attend.It is So. Much. Fun!Our instructor\, Kimberly Canale\, is a high energy performer and experienced theater educator. And she is So. Much. Fun!The class runs from 12 noon to 2 PM for five days\, August 18 to 22. If you choose to participate\, please be sure you can attend all five days.For young performers age 12 to 17.  Sign up here. \nThis project is made possible with funds from the Statewide Community Regrant program\, a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts with support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature and administered by The ARTS Council of the Southern Finger Lakes.
