DESCRIPTION:The Southeast Steuben County Library’s new Movie Club is a way for folks who love movies to connect and discuss a selected movie each month. Christine Adamo will select movies that are either in the Library collection\, or easily accessible for streaming free\, and will lead a group conversation on the 4th Thursday of the month from 5:30-6:30pm. Light refreshments provided. No sign up required\, just show up. \nThe September film will be: Anna Lucasta a 1958 American drama film directed by Arnold Laven and written by Philip Yordan. It stars Eartha Kitt\, Sammy Davis Jr.\, and Henry Scott. It is a remake of the 1949 film noir version which itself was an adaptation of the 1936 stage play.\nYou can watch a trailer here.\nThis film can be streamed for free with ads on YouTube\, Tubi and PLEX. \nImportant: Please watch the movie ahead of time. Movie Club is a discussion group only. \nComing up:\nOctober 23: The Last Man on Earth  is a 1964 post-apocalyptic science fiction horror film based on the 1954 novel I Am Legend by Richard Matheson. The film was directed by Sidney Salkow and Ubaldo Ragona\, and stars Vincent Price and Franca Bettoia. \nBelow are film posters for this movie from around the world. \n              \n
