DESCRIPTION:The Southeast Steuben County Library will be the site for a Red Cross blood drive on Friday\, September 19\, between 9 AM and 2 PM.\nThe need for blood is high\, especially Type O\, but your donation of any blood type can help to save a life.\nIf you last donated blood on or before July 9\, you are safely eligible to donate again at this drive. \nYou can sign up by calling 1-800-RED CROSS\, or sign up on the Red Cross Blood Drive page: scroll down to September 19.\nYou can download the smartphone app to track your donation history and sign up for future drives.\nIf you have never given blood before and would like some more information\, check out this helpful page. \nUpcoming drives:\nFriday\, November 14\, 9 to 2 PM\nThe Red Cross is coordinating with the Library to host blood drives on a 56+ day schedule: that means that each time you give blood at the Library\, you will be eligible to give blood at the next scheduled drive. How convenient to be able to come back to the Library for all of your donations!

DESCRIPTION:Coyote has a razor-sharp wit\, but he’s a little confused about what he sees in the sky. Join this amusing character (adapted from American Indian oral traditions) in a fast-paced and fun full-dome show that explores lunar phases\, eclipses\, and other puzzles. Engaging and immersive\, Earth\, Moon\, Sun also examines how humans learn through space exploration.\nThis 30 minute show will be followed by a 15 minute star talk where they will point out the visible constellations. \nThe program takes place at the Digital Dome on the SUNY Corning Community College Campus. \nWe will meet at the Digital Dome. Miss Sue will pay the $4 admission for the first 25 attendees\, both kids and parents or  caretakers.\nAfter that\, people will have to pay the $4 admission fee themselves.
