The Southeast Steuben County Library will be the site for a Red Cross blood drive on May 14. If you last donated blood on or before March 20, you are eligible to safely donate again at this drive.

These storytimes will include stories, songs and fun but will also focus on the skills needed for Kindergarten.

The Coffee, Tea & English Book Club is intended for international people. The book is chosen by the facilitator with the group’s needs and language skills in mind. Participants read on their own and then meet weekly to discuss the material as prompted by prepared questions.

Stop by the Library after school each Thursday for a structured activity; a different activity each week. No need to sign up, just show up. For young people aged 9 to 12.

Artsy Kids is an Art History and Project class. Each week a different Master Artist will be featured. There will be a discussion about the artist, followed by an instructed project lesson based on the featured artist’s style of art.

Please note the date change to the 3rd Friday of this month only. On the 4th Friday of each month (usually), there will be a popular recent movie shown in the Library’s Community Room. The movies, all curated by Librarian Linda Reimer, are selected with adult viewers in mind.

Every Friday afternoon through June 7, Miss Sue will show a new movie for kids. All the films will start at 3:15 PM and will be rated G or PG.

Led by Dungeon Master Robin, this gathering is suitable for ages 13-17. All levels of experience will be welcomed in this safe space.
