DESCRIPTION:This series of six classes on bookbinding processes examines the historic and contemporary traditions of the art\, provides a foundation in bookbinding skills\, and gives students the opportunity to engage their hands and minds. \nPeople taking this class are requested to take all six classes\, as each class builds upon and reinforces things learned in the other classes; if you cannot commit to attending all six classes\, we ask that you not sign up. He has given talks on a wide variety of plant-related topics at the Smithsonian ranging from indoor pests to overwintering tropical plants. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Penn State University’s College of Agricultural Sciences where he studied Horticulture and Landscape Contracting.
