DESCRIPTION:Writing can be a lonely pursuit\, but it doesn’t have to be. Join a group of fellow writers for conversation\, inspiration and feedback. The Corning Adult Writer’s Group has been encouraging and supporting fellow writers for over 12 years. \nWriters in all genres welcome. The group offers a hybrid meeting option: in person at the Library for those who are comfortable doing so\, and online via the Zoom video platform for those who are not yet ready for in-person. The group meets every Wednesday from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. \nInterested in joining the group? DESCRIPTION:Children ages 19 and under are eligible for a free lunch at the Library beginning Monday\, July 14\, and running through Friday\, August 22.\nMeals will be available in the Library’s community room\, from 12 noon to 12:30 PM on Monday\, Wednesday\, Thursday and Friday\, and typically consist of a sandwich\, fruit\, chips and a drink. \nEvery Tuesday\, beginning on July 15 and running through August 19\, a hot grilled meal will be available for children ages 18 and under from 12 noon to 1:00 PM. The hot grilled meals will be served in the Civic Center Plaza. Adults accompanying a child may purchase a grilled lunch. \nThe meals are provided in collaboration with the Corning-Painted Post School District.
