The Adult Book Club will meet in-person at the Library on the second Friday of each month. There is an option to join the Book Club online via Zoom; you must notify Linda at least one day before the scheduled meeting date to get the zoom link: reimerl@stls.org
The book selection today will be Susan, Linda, Nina & Cokie: The Extraordinary Story of the Founding Mothers of NPR by Lisa Napoli. (288 pages) This title is available as a Hoopla instant checkout eBook.

Journalist and author Napoli weaves a fascinating, highly readable account, written to coincide with the 50th anniversary of NPR’s launch, of the women of National Public Radio. Readers are left with inspiring insights into the pathbreaking work of these four women, but more importantly with a sense of how the status of some women and the role of the media have both changed in the last 50 years.
