Presenting LinkedIn Learning : Learn Almost Anything, At Your Own Pace, 24/7.

The Southeast Steuben County Library has offered free access to Lynda.com since 2019. We are offering the same service today, but the name has changed to LinkedIn Learning, and it is still the leading creativity, technology, and business learning resource on the internet. With thousands of hours of videos in hundreds of different subjects by recognized expert instructors, you can learn almost anything, all at your own pace, any time you want. You’ll have unlimited access* to all of the video classes on LinkedIn Learning, and you can watch the instructional videos as often as you like.
To access LinkedIn Learning, you will need your library card number and PIN to log in. It must be a card from the Southeast Steuben County Library; cards from other libraries will not work. Your PIN, by default, is the last four digits of your phone number at the time you signed up for your card. You can have your PIN changed at the circulation desk.
The first time you access the LinkedIn Learning, you will be asked for your name and an email to set up an account, so you can set your preferences, and so Lynda.com will know where you are in a lesson the next time you come back.

*Before you get started, here are a few more details about our service:
1) Our subscription can accept up to 20 people logged in at a time. If you are the 21st person trying to log on, you will have to wait until someone logs out.
2) You cannot stay logged on forever; it will automatically log you out after a period of inactivity. You should have enough time to go to the restroom, grab a snack in the kitchen, etc. But if you try to stay logged in while you are at work and not using the service, it will likely log you out.
