Meet local children’s book author Tara Lynn Osburn and celebrate the opening of a new ice skating season.
Tara’s book is Loop and tells the story of Laney Parker, who wants to skate her routine in the Crystal Valley Skating Club’s upcoming show. It’s challenging to get to practice in and the only way Coach is going to choose her for one of the solo skates is if she nails her double loop. Maybe, just maybe, some things are more important than what you think you want.
Copies of the book will be available for purchase, and the author is happy to sign them.
About the author: Tara Lynn Osburn has a masters
degree in special education and enjoys sharing the best in middle grade fiction with her six children. She lives on a maple sugaring farm in upstate New York and works as an early intervention provider specializing in young children with autism. When not writing, Tara enjoys musical theatre, ice skating, and anything outdoors.
