Sculpt a bird or other natural creature from air-dried clay. Learn techniques to avoid cracking and to create a pleasing finish. We will be working with air-dried clay. It hardens without firing, but is not as hard as kiln fired ceramics. It is for decorative purposes, and cannot hold water. It can be painted!
If you registered for the class, you will receive a materials packet and the Zoom link. Included in the course materials: a bag of air-dry clay. Have ready at home: damp cloth for clean-up; household items to use as tools, such as pencil, paper clip, old sock, popsicle stick, butter knife, or just use your fingers.
