We will all meet at Bradford Cemetery, where there will be a short lesson on the history of Memorial Day followed by a veteran flag placing.
The cemetery was officially established in 1812. It holds the graves of soldiers from the Revolutionary War, the Civil War, WWI, WWII, Korea, Vietnam, and the Gulf War as well as those that served in peace time. Let’s honor these brave soldiers by cleaning their headstones and placing American flags for Memorial Day.
If you can please bring: a large, old screw driver, a hammer, a bucket, water, cleaning rags.
