On the 4th Friday of each month, there will be a popular movie shown in the Library’s Community Room. The movies, all curated by Librarian Linda Reimer, are selected with adult viewers in mind.
No need to sign up, just show up.

This Month’s Matinee Movie is Oppenheimer, directed by Christopher Nolan and starring Cillian Murphy, Emily Bunt and Robert Downey Jr. It is the story of American scientist J. Robert Oppenheimer and his role in the development of the atomic bomb. Released in 2023, the film won seven Oscars, including for Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor and Best Supporting Actor. The film is rated R and has a 3 hour running time.
