On the 4th Friday of each month, there will be a popular recent movie shown in the Library’s Community Room. The movies, all curated by Librarian Linda Reimer, are selected with adult viewers in mind.

This Month’s Matinee Movie is The Creator, directed by Gareth Edwards and starring John David Washington, Gemma Chan, Ken Watanabe. Released in 2023 and nominated for two Oscars, the film is rated PG-13 and runs 2h 13m.
The Story: Against the backdrop of a war between humans and robots with artificial intelligence, a former soldier finds the secret weapon, a robot in the form of a young child.
