The Library has a few different catalogs offering a vast range of physical and digital items for patrons to borrow and enjoy.

STARCat is the main catalog for physical items: books, audio books on CD, DVDs, magazines, kits, video games, museum passes and much more. With STARCat you can search all of the 48 libraries in the Souther Tier Library System for items and place holds on them.

The STLS Digital Catalog includes tens of thousands of ebooks, streaming audio books, and digital magazines. They can be accessed on a computer via Overdrive, and on the Libby app on smartphones, tablets, Kindles, etc.

Hoopla is a digital collection that the Library subscribes to, and is exclusively available to our Library’s cardholders. Hoopla offers ebooks, audiobooks, graphic novels and comics, music, and streaming movies and TV shows (including many from the BBC).

Finally, we have a list of the physical newspapers and periodicals that are carried in-house at the Library. Many periodicals have discontinued printing physical issues, but may be found in digital form on Libby or Overdrive,
