Hoopla is a groundbreaking digital media service offered by Southeast Steuben County Library that allows you to borrow audiobooks, ebooks, comics, music, movies and TV shows to enjoy on your computer, tablet, or phone – and even your TV! With no holds and no waiting, titles can be streamed immediately, or downloaded to devices for offline enjoyment later. Hoopla has hundreds of thousands of titles to choose from, with more being added daily. Hoopla is like having your public library at your fingertips.

Currently you can check out up to ten (10) titles a month.
How to create an account: First of all you will need to have a library card from the Southeast Steuben County Library.
Go to www.hoopladigital.com. You’ll click on the blue box that says, “Get Started Today.”
• You will be asked for your email, and then to create a password at least 8 and no more than 40 characters long.
• Next, you will be asked to select your library; choose “Southeast Steuben County Library.”
• Then you will be asked for the 13 digital library card number on the back of your library card. If you don’t have your card, you can call (607) 936-3713 to get your number; be prepared to verify several pieces of information to confirm your identity.
You are now set up with your hoopla account!
From this point onwards you will log in with your email and password. Be sure to write your password down where you can find it in case you ever forget it.
