You can find all of the Library’s virtual/online offerings on our calendar, and on our Facebook page, from storytimes and science times for children, to yoga, crafts, book clubs and baking videos for adults and families. You can check out eBooks and audio books through our two digital collections resources: Libby, and Hoopla. Hoopla also offers music, magazines, comics and graphic novels, and streaming movies & TV shows.
We want to remind our patrons who have digital devices but perhaps no Internet at home, that they can log into the Library’s WiFi from outside the Library 24 hours a day; look for the login password on the library doors.
Below are non-library resources, but we feel they expand on the Library’s offerings of high quality online events and resources.
The New York Public Library is making their SimplyE app available to all New York State residents. Learn more here.
The FLX Calendar is actually two calendars: one for activities for adults & all ages, and one directed towards children’s activities. In this moment, as we all deal with the coronavirus, social distancing, and self-quarantining, the FLX calendar is featuring only virtual streaming events.
The Library’s streaming events (storytimes, yoga, etc.) all will appear on the FLX Calendar, as well on our website calendar and on our Facebook events page.
